Message from the Counselor
I’m Fazeena Mansoor, a Counselor and Psychotherapist with trained experience in supporting individuals through emotional healing and personal growth. My academic foundation was built in Sri Lanka, where my bachelor's degree belongs to the Open University of Sri Lanka, followed by practical training through an internship at the National Council for Mental Health. I hold additional qualifications in Modern Applied Psychology DiMAP (UK-accredited), and I am a certified NLP Master Practitioner, Life Coach, and trained in PTSD management. As a Licensed Member of SLNIPC (Membership No: A/2021/1737 | Reg No: WP/GAM/KE/00188), I currently offer psychotherapy services in a few private hospital settings and also collaborate on some government projects when my support is needed.
I believe healing begins with being truly heard, seen, and understood. Every individual carries a story shaped by pain, strength, and growth. My role is to walk beside you — offering a safe, compassionate space where your voice is honoured. Whether you're seeking clarity, navigating emotional pain, or reconnecting with yourself, I am here to guide you with empathy, insight, and unwavering support. ONLINE COUNSELING
As a consequence of covid 19 evolution, as same the physical education changed into online the Mental health care also turned as an online activity while serving people’s mental health needs.
The mental health care sectors began to offer online counseling sessions via meeting platforms such as Zoom, Google meet, Microsoft team.
Doorway provides a satisfactory online counseling and online therapy as there are people who are unable to come for face to face sessions with the barrier of the pandemic. Transportation issues and for other personal reasons such as, unassuming work hours or risk of the condition.
PRIVACY
Doorway proactively take steps and maintain policies to ensure their client's confidentiality. We recognize the importance of protecting the security of your nonpublic personal information.
We highly restrict access to nonpublic personal information about our clients to those employees and agents who need to know that information to provide products and services to our clients.
Only one situation make us reveal some information to government hierarchy of courts, police and medical in sri lanka, if it is a situation which client harm him / herself or other.
